Lately I've been contemplating buy a new DSLR camera, I'm getting into my photography more and more these days, and I seemed to have it in my head that getting a new camera and some more expensive gear would be a good idea. You know, take shit to the next level. At the moment I have an entry level Canon EOS 1100D, a couple of standard lenses, plus a 50mm f/1.4. A pretty basic and inexpensive set up.

I have an Evernote Notebook choc full of amazing photos from locations I'd love to visit one day, and these are just a very select few. Read MorePrior to about last November, I'd barely ever taken a decent drive around Rotorua and had a look at what everyone was always talking about, or why it was such a popular tourist spot. These days it's one of my fave places to just go for a drive. These pics are all from the Blue Lake. On clear & sunny days it's insanely blue, and on cloudy days like today it's not as blue, but the water is still crystal clear. And in winter it's even better since there's barely any tourists around!
